Frequently asked Questions
After researching source material and studying on-screen images, Eric creates digital versions of each item using design software. He uses a laser cutter to help cut and engrave the parts and then hand-finishes each item, sanding, assembling and preparing them for shipping.
We use birch wood for most of our products. For special accents, we also use transparent acrylic, leather and metal accessories.
Each item is packaged flat and comes in a tailored re-sealable zipper storage bag. Items which require assembly come with an illustrated instruction sheet.
After cutting and engraving, each item is sanded, adjusted, and hand-fitted for assembly. We do not apply any stain or lacquer to the wood, but retain the wood’s natural surface. Each product has some visible burn marks on the wood from our cutting process, which we leave to give each piece a distinctive look.
Products which require assembly, such as multi-part items or included support stands, only take 2-3 steps to assemble. Assembly may include steps such as putting support stands into pre-cut holes or sliding a sword guard onto a sword blade and takes only a few moments to complete.
Items should arrive 7-10 days after ordering.
We are currently not able to take commissions, but we are always looking for great items to create. So, if you have an idea for a sword, symbol or sculpture from anime, TV/movies, video games or history, feel free to share your idea on our Suggestions page and you may see it appear in a future line.
